Making Kaufman County a model and example for women’s advocacy in the state of Texas is the goal of The Healing Hearts Ministry. Through seminars and classes we plan to dispel the misconceptions and stereo-types associated with domestic violence. Our program promotes healing and victorious living in the women we help.

                Through our public speaking we are developing a support network across the county and state of resources to help women in crisis rebuild their lives. We are showing our community how they can become a part of this network and provide resources to the women in their own lives.

This ministry provides life changing support groups and classes for these women. A long-term plan is to open a training resource center for women who are starting over or needing a helping hand to step up into a better life.

Through our network we are working to establish a witness advocacy program through our local court system so that  every victim will have an advocate with them at court hearings. We want to see law enforcement officials working hand in hand with our program to help witnesses feel safe through the criminal processes.
